AFP selected its new recruits to join the rescue mission of the medical team taken hostage by an armed rebel group. The rescue mission was headed by Colonel Rex who was a war veteran and a member of AFP's elite team.
The rescue team left the AFP command base at exactly 0900 hours to meet the time of arrival as agreed with the host team. Everybody appeared extremely excited that most of them did not listen to the command briefing conducted by Aldrix of the EMC Intel Group.

As soon as Aldrix gave the go ahead, the team did not waste a second and almost jumped off the cliff where they were supposed to rappel down, using the rope installed by the Undercover Agent. Failing to wear protective gloves while rappelling, Colonel Mario almost lost all his fingers.

The team split in two - the second team took right side of the main road leading to the rebels' satellite camp, while the embedded Press followed closely.

Alpha team, headed by Colonel Rex, spotted the rebel patrol and quickly positioned themselves. However, the rebels stopped short and walked away from the main road where the Alpha team was set-up for a near-perfect ambush.

Upon seeing the rebel patrol move away from a possible ambush, Team Bravo pressed forward but was stopped by some rebels already positioned for ambush as well. Two men were quickly taken out while the rest of the team took cover under heavy enemy fire. Team Alpha promptly responded and traded fire with the rebels. The ambushers and the rebel patrol were all taken down (Ka Roger, included). AFP suffered a total of 4 casualties.

Some new recruits panicked and stopped advancing. "What the fuck are you doing Soldiers?! Move! Move!" General Winston screamed. They still hesitated, which prompted the General to throw some stones at them.

Lieutenant Dracs assembled few of his trusted men for a maneuver move with a goal to surprise the enemy by attacking from the rear of their camp where the hostages were being held.

Colonel Rex decided to take matters into his own hands. He crawled towards the enemy positions and killed most of them one by one before he was finally taken down by some well-hidden, well-positioned enemy combatants. He killed five rebels total.

Lieutenant Roy rushed towards the enemy camp (which was freaking out), started killing everybody, including some of the hostages :-). But a lone be-cool rebel guarding the camp stopped him from killing all the hostages.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Dracs' 5-man team reached the very rear part of the camp, saw an old white-painted house and thought it was a rebel hide-out.
They surrounded the house. Colonel Mario, who was still having problems with his fingers, decided to charge the main door to forcibly open it. :) The door seemed perfectly hardened. The Colonel bounced back and almost had a heart attack. (He is just 45 years old). :-)
The team realized the house was not a rebel hide-out because it was pretty quiet and even saw a habal-habal (passenger motorcycle) pass by. They then moved back and saw a tent with a few, unarmed people.
One guy picked up something from the ground. Lieutenant Dracs thought he was picking up his rifle and so he fired a couple of shots at the guy who was actually picking up a megaphone, not a gun. The guy then started shouting at them and asked who they were and why they were there.
Lieutenant Dracs' team disengaged and moved towards the other tent nearby. They saw the lone be-cool rebel guard. They killed the guy from behind then left the hostage alone.

As Lieutenant Drac and Colonel Mario's team move towards the camp, the Alpha team mistakenly identified them as rebel reinforcements. Gun battle between the two teams ensued, which resulted to four casualties through friendly fire.

Colonel Mario approached the lone medical personnel survivor. "Are you okay Sir?" the Colonel asked.

An angelic voice replied, "Yes Sir, I'm okay." Colonel Mario was stunned when he realized he was talking to a woman. The woman took her mask off and she was indeed angelic. Colonel Mario immediately took his mask off as well, but the woman begged him to put his mask back on after seeing his face (as according to the Colonel).
Lieutenant Dracs shouted, "AFP! AFP!" to call the Undercover Agent's attention but no one replied. They thought the UA was shot dead.

The team moved out and head towards the safe zone along with the rescued beautiful hostage. The UA then showed up when they reached the safe zone. The agent then conducted a short briefing about the next mission.

The UA took over command and the team followed him to their next target. They ran into a creek which led to their target's location. The UA, who did not properly identified himself, gave the team another short briefing when they were about 20 meters closer to the rebels' main camp.

Sergeant George took the right flank, along with Privates Capa and Arthur, passing through very difficult terrain. Colonel Rex's team engaged the camp's perimeter guards while Captain Gerard battled against the enemy snipers - there were a few of them.
There were fire fights among friendlies again resulting to three casualties from friendly fire.

Few minutes later, the rebel snipers and guards had all been neutralized. The team rushed into the camp and set up a perimeter defense while some team members struggled to find the bomb. Lieutenant Roy this time escorted the hostage and did not kill him. He turned the rescued Doctor over to the agent. Private Arthur found the bomb and disarmed it.

The team left the camp and head towards the extraction point, but stumbled upon more rebels patrolling the area. Heavy exchange of fire broke off.

Rebels surrendered few minutes later and came out of their positions.

Mission accomplished! The team reached the extraction point where Aldrix was waiting with a sign of relief on his face. He instructed the team to follow him so they could get their snacks. "Yeah, we're starving!", Lieutenant Dracs said.
